A quote from a website on Guilt and Shame:
“By differentiating between the action and the actor, we can help prevent shame and its negative connotations, while still encouraging a healthy sense of right, wrong, and guilt when necessary.”
What a bunch of bullshit to deceive someone into being able to objectively look at themselves. Convince the ego that it is safe, no one is “attacking it” or its attachment to beliefs, because the actions are not “you”, so it allows more comfort in looking at the actions themselves without the automatic associating with self that is part of reality. No, this person tries to convince your gullible mind that actions are separate from you… that way you can listen to them without getting defensive. Yeah… even though the actions represent the person and who they choose to be, lets con you, the ego self personality, into believing you’re not responsible for the actions, then you can more honestly deal with yourself… lol. I don’t play those dissociative mind games to bypass facing yourself in the mirror. That is not Truth. This is trying to prevent people from feeling the bullshit they engage in and create. Truth is the only way out.
