Notes:
– To get to being a Truly Good Person, you have to accept to lose things for being Good, for being moral, to be willing to let those attachments go, and suffer through the hardship, be it losing a friend or a job you need to speak truth about or quit to no longer participate in immorality.
– Losing a career or a house should not be the main motive so that you keep doing something immoral. Stop being immoral, and suffer the temporary loss and hardship. The rejection of this option are why much evil has been done (Nazis) and continues to be done (police, military).
– Is that wrong to say, that ppl should do the right thing by not being paid to do immoral things, and maybe lose their friends, job, house and survival to do it? No. If you think it’s wrong, unjust, insulting, irrational, etc. you’re the problem. It’s as wrong as telling Nazis they were doing immoral things and needed to quit. Castigating those doing moral education instead of those being immoral is not the right thing to do. Principles, morality, freedom, rights are more important than anyone or a group putting food on their table to survive. If someone won’t stop doing immoral things, then they just have to admit they are a bad person.
