Belief From Input Only (Grammar)

New Agers, pseudo-spiritualists, and other people who are stuck in primarily an input only mode of observation (grammar), with lack of processing the data they gathered (logic), are running around adding things together to form ideas and concepts, but they are not processing them correctly to determine their veracity or credibility. They end up creating hodgepodge mass belief systems attached to each other with no real grounding in the reality we live in. They end up believing in bullshit, believing whatever “sounds good”, i.e. whatever helps to create a “feel-good” self-image and worldview.

When you believe, you find credibility of some kind to accept it. If someone asks you if you believe them, you have certain credibility into what they claim, or not. If you do not believe them, then their claim is not very credible to you and you do not think it to be true. You believe or not because you don’t know if what they are saying is true or not.

If you lack data about reality, you will not be able to fully understand reality. If you do not process the data about reality accurately, you will not be able to fully understand reality. When you accept falsity as “truth”, it will prevent you from accepting Truth in the future, as having the falsity ingrained and accepted as “truth” blocks out greater truths built from prerequisite understanding that you rejected in favor of the falsity. Simply taking in data uncritically in “open-minded” blindness is not going to get you to understand reality better.
